Older Adult Programs and Services Database

The Older Adult Programs and Services Database (OAPSD) is a free, online databse with more than 2100 records on progams and servcies for older adults and their caregivers in Hamilton, Niagara, Haldimand and Norfolk, Brant and Halton.

Many health care and community support services staff care for patients and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds who may not speak or read English. We are pleased to announce that using Google Translate, all of the detailed record pages in the OAPSD can be translated into over 50 languages! The records can then be printed and shared with clients and caregivers.

How to use the translation feature:

Conduct your search by entering a key terms into the Find field, or by using the Browse by Category feature in left navigation bar.

This will provide you with a Search Results page.

Click on the name of the program or service you wish to know more about to open a Detailed Record page.

In the top left hand corner of the Detailed Record page go to the Tranlate This Page box to select a language.
